David has built a successful career around creating and closing new, high value sales opportunities for some of the largest and smallest IT companies in Europe and the USA.

During the past 30 years he has established, developed and led sales teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) whilst always 'carrying a bag' and closing his own 'high profile' business opportunities. 

He has sold a wide variety of technology solutions across a plethora of vertical market sectors. Engaging decision makers at CXO and Ministerial level through to the Heads of the core business functions.

David has held positions as Business Development Director EMEA for Sterling Commerce (now IBM), EMEA Sales Manager for Platinum Technology (now CA Technologies), Locus Computing (now CA Technologies) and SDL plc. 

Within the Small Medium Enterprise space, David was appointed Group CEO of a Basel-based, Anglo Swiss Content Management Vendor & Services Group, and previous founded a leading UK Field Service Management Consultancy.

David has provided strategic sales consultancy for various Business Intelligence & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Traceability and Bespoke Software Development companies within Europe.

David holds a degree in Applied Sciences (Biomedicine) and attended Henley Management College. More importantly though, he is a passionate protagonist of common sense being the key to success in business.

They have all had more than 15 years of successful IT sales experience, selling to both the SME and Enterprise markets across multiple vertical market sectors. They have also held senior, national and international sales management positions and worked for large corporations and smaller businesses. In short they understand how to generate sales ethically, effectively, efficiently and profitably within a diversity of business cultures.

If and when required, Sagacious People leverage a small, dedicated team of seasoned technical consultants. They are either technical domain specialists or have held strategic management positions in leading IT organisations from within the Defence & Aerospace, Financial Services, Software and IT Services sectors.

The consultancy roles performed by this team range from presales consultancy through to solution delivery. Their functional specialisms include Solution Architecture, Technical Analysis, Project Management and Technical Subject Matter excellence.
